Silver Heights Camp is looking for people who can give a week to youth ages 13-18 in a lovely, pastoral setting with excellent food and great facilities. The camp targets kids who would not be able to afford a week at a church camp.
The kids come excited to spend time away from home and look forward to this time of fun, learning, and growing in their faith.
Responsibilities:
- Counselors stay in cabins/dorms with the campers. Two counselors per unit.
- You would be assigned a “family” group where you and another counselor would lead the students in study and devotional times. All materials are provided.
- Participate in group activities, including one afternoon at a local swimming pool.
- Sit with the kids during the evening services and be available to pray with them, as needed.
All counselors will need to read and agree with our Board Core Values.
A background check is done on all counselors, directors and staff.
