Silver Heights is more than just a camp - It is a valuable resource that will be available to the entire Southern Indiana community. Its promise is that of making our community stronger and closer by providing a safe place for children and families to gather, worship, and share rewarding experiences.
With your help, this dream can be realized. With your donation we can begin rebuilding the proud heritage and history that is Silver Heights Camp & Retreat Center.
The four main goals of Rebuilding Hope through Faith are:
1. To re-energize public awareness and participation in
the annual camp meeting - a tradition since 1888.
2. To minister to the youth of our community by providing
support for groups such as:
• Fellowship of Christian Athletes
• Youth for Christ
• Campus Crusade
• Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America
• Faith based youth groups and more
3. To open Silver Heights 365 days a year as a true community
resource available to local churches and groups for:
• Youth camps and youth oriented events
• Christian music concerts
• Week long revivals or meetings
• Retreats - youth, marriage, singles and more
• Special outings, social events, picnics and fund-raising
4. To provide support to Churches and their Mission Programs
• Facilities and grounds will be open to support missions training
• Cottages and housing will provide a way to help missionaries transition back to life in the US. |
