Due to the large anticipated crowd, we are asking everyone to park at the Scribner Middle School, 910 Old Vincennes Road, New Albany. Miller Transportation will provide bus shuttle service to and from the campground from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. Handicap parking is available at the campground for those who cannot ride the bus. However, your walk will be shorter if you ride the bus!

Directions from INDIANA - I 265 in New Albany and take Exit One (State Street). Go south on State Street to 5th stoplight. Turn right on West Street. (Next to Tumbleweed Restaurant) On West Street go approximately one mile and turn right on Cherry Street. Scribner Middle School is located on the right after the stop sign (.2 mile)
Directions from KENTUCKY – Take the Sherman Minton Bridge (I64) and exit right at first exit in New Albany. Go 2 blocks to State Street and turn left. Go to Cherry Street and turn left (across from Dairy Queen). Continue on Cherry Street and you will see Scribner Middle School located on the right.
Directions for HANDICAP PARKING - Continue past Scribner to the top of the hill (.4 mile) Turn right at stop sign on Adams Street. Go one block and turn left on Camp Avenue. Silver Heights is located 2 blocks on the right.


Proclaimation of Kimberly Collingsworth Day

Whereas:
Kimberly Collingsworth was a resident of New Albany and attended her first year of school in New Albany, Indiana. She and her family of eight siblings attended the Clear Fork Wesleyan Church where her father served as the Pastor and

Whereas:
Kim Collingsworth was three years old when she was inspired by her father’s message about Solomon. Later that night, Kim kneeling by her bedside, begged God for a special gift that she could use to serve Him and

Whereas:
Kim Collingsworth was given a special gift from God in playing the piano and thus began playing for congregations at the age of eight and

Whereas:
Kim Collingsworth said “It all started here” in a small church in southern Indiana and

Whereas:
Kim, and husband, Phil have four children, Courtney, Brooklyn, Phillip and Olivia. The family as a whole uses their musical talents to minister to people around the world.

Now, therefore, I, Douglas B. England, Mayor of the City of New Albany, in the State of Indiana, do hereby proclaim August 26, 2011
